1. Grenadine- (click the play tab under our picture on the Homepage to hear)
Sourced in Spanish Folk tradition, two guitar voices blend and accent each other while still managing to pay homage to the Blues, the Middle East and of course, the Urban Gypsy.
2. Dark Eyes-
Considered to be a traditional Gypsy tune because of Django Reinhardt's three covers, Dark Eyes was actually composed by a Ukrainian poet (Yehven Hrebinka) and a German musician (Feodor Chaliapin) in 1843. String Fever adds some North American sparkle to those Dark Eyes.
3. Pensiva-
And now for something completely different- an original composition expressing a musical love affair with moody minor chords. Two individual melodies rise and fall, come together and move away in a rhythm of tension and release.
4. Lean on Lovin' Blues-
An original tune dedicated to all those blue dudes who haven't gotten any in a really long time.
5. The Third and Fourth Man-
Scene- a dark, smokey night club smelling of stale whiskey, bad cigars and cheap cologne. Marc and Dan consider this piece to be tribute to the inspiration and fretboard mastery of Django Reinhardt, and is dedicated to Roma everywhere!
6. Fur Elise Latina-
Beethoven rolls into the 21st century and Marc and Dan are grooving with him- payback for all those years as a struggling piano student.
7. Jose Goes North-
And he likes it here! An original piece dedicated to all those people who just don't get two Canucks addicted to Latin music. May you be infected too!
8. Czardas-
Once an Hungarian Army recruiting dance in the 18th century, this tune is a standard throughout Eastern Europe. Marc and Dan bring a dueling guitars element to this classic piece, but flatly refuse to wear the red skirts usually associated with it. No, Czardas is not about anything as lofty as stars or Czars, it a common term for 'pub.'
9. Too Hot To Sleep-
In the literal and figurative sense. An original piece featuring lust and longing of a night seperated from your love, of course with a Latin groove.
10. String Fever-
An original tune with a big city blues flavour and a whole lot of funk. Fine traveling music with a driving beat, R & B syncopation and even some Latin tensions. Crank it on your next road trip, but watch the speedometer.

Thanks Dan and Marc! You've made the highways of North America a safer place to be. I pop your CD in the player and never have to worry about falling asleep at the wheel. I'm even drinking less coffee on my long hauls.

"What serendipity! We were lost, heard your music playing from around the block and had to come see what was going on. We ended up staying, forgot about being lost and thoroughly enjoyed your music.
