Danny Allen
began his love affair with the guitar at a very early age. For a while, picks vied with pucks for Danny's attention but picks and strings have emerged victorious and music is his primary passion. Now Danny brings that powerful athleticism from the hockey rink to his guitar playing style and performs with a vitality and drive that scores large with audiences everywhere.
"There have been two moments in my life that greatly changed my musical outlook. The first was a chilly February afternoon when I first signed up for guitar lessons with Marc. The second was a warm May evening when I first listened to a Strunz and Farah CD. The power in that music was enough to convert a young rock and roller to the eclectic power of the world music scene. I especially enjoy fusing styles, rhythms and patterns from brass and percussion instruments into my guitar playing."
Marc Novoselec
began his musical journey at age 9 when Santa quite unexpectedly placed a guitar under the Christmas tree. He spent countless hours hidden away in his bedroom honing his technique, practicing scales and seeking to emulate his rock heroes 'Kiss'. By age 16 he was playing and actually getting paid for it (and lying about his age) in various venues throughout Central Ontario. Graduating from the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology added the professionalism
and techie know-how necessary to record, produce and explore his own musical creativity.
"I love the power of sound, to inspire, to motivate, to trigger a full range of emotions from pathos to elation. String Fever is a magical blend of musical virtuosity, wildly creative improvisation and a celebration of every musical style that Dan and I have ever listened to and enjoyed. "
